It makes me want to dust off my old VCR and play some of my Crowded House video tapes (collected with loving care during my teen years).

My favorite Paulo moment was when a friend of mine brought a plastic plate from the Vatican to a show in 1991. When Paul took center stage to play “Italian Plastic” she handed it to him and he yelled, “That’s it exactly! The plate from Rome!” and launched into a funny story about buying tacky plastic plates while on holiday in Italy.

Rest in peace, Paul. You will be missed.
