Read This! From favorite Fareed Zakaria, a quick look at the historical consequences of sustaining a huge national debt. And no, Republicans and Tea Party’ers, you can’t just cut taxes without cutting government expenses and call that balancing the budget. Fiscal burdens like expensive occupational wars have got to end. There is no use of protecting the country if the debt you incur doing it destroys the very foundation from the inside and the nation comes crumbling down. The same is true for economic recovery packages.
