Well, the administration is open to all points of view&#8230; as long as they tow the party line on policy. The EPA <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/2009\/11\/17\/epa-employees-silenced-criticizing-cap-trade\/\">is trying to squelch two critics of the administrations\u00a0 &#8220;cap and trade&#8221; bill<\/a>.\u00a0 The two EPA officials, with over twenty years dealing with <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">global warming<\/span> climate change issues, agree with critics who say that the pending legislation will do nothing to prevent climate change. They made a video expressing their thoughts, but were told to either take it down, or face disciplinary actions. The original video video appears to be gone, but some plucky internet hacker copied the video before it was pulled. It&#8217;s grainy, but here is the copy.<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"560\" height=\"340\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/bFrrdG6Blfg&#038;hl=en_US&#038;fs=1&#038;\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/bFrrdG6Blfg&#038;hl=en_US&#038;fs=1&#038;\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" width=\"560\" height=\"340\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>And BTW, this is the second time someone has fallen victim to the policy police, Alan Carlin being the first (that we know of) <a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB124657655235589119.html\">to fall into the vortex of silence<\/a>.\u00a0 Hmmm, two in nine months. At this rate, the Obama administration may break Bush&#8217;s record of censorship.<\/p>\n<p>PS. There is good news here. It appears the Obama administration can do SOMETHING without the need to appoint yet another Czar, A Censorship Czar. Hmmmm.
