It still applies.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"post-body\">       <strong><em>Is it selfish,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>To be happy to still be alive?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>A day so long ago,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Yet still so close to the heart.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>We were all changed, but at least we are still alive.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>So many lives lost.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Gone forever but still in our hearts.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>I breathe. In. Out. In. Out.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>And I thank God I was not on a plane&#8230;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>In a building&#8230;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Or on the streets&#8230;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>In harms way on that fatefull day.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>I cry today for those who were.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>So much bitter sorrow.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The taste of anger and fear.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Yet I am here.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>So I breathe. In. Out. In. Out.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Sometimes that&#8217;s more than enough.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Maybe the spirits of those taken that day,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Or the essence of family and friends who have gone before,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Can feel through me the air I breathe.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>So I breathe. In.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Oxygen flows from lung to heart.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>And feel the comport.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>It brings a smile.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>I am happy.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>I am here.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>We are all here.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>More on this later.
