But I do have a few thoughts on the John Edwards affair.<br \/>\nThis ain\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t over. Edwards hasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t given the whole story. AFAIK, the late night trip to the hotel of the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153former\u00e2\u20ac\u009d mistress, which led to the Enquirers scoop, has yet to be explained. Was he surveying the fire exits, or was he just \u00e2\u20ac\u0153helping\u00e2\u20ac\u009d an old friend?<\/p>\n<p>The left-wing blogs are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/cenk-uygur\/why-doesnt-john-mccains-a_b_117811.html\">having<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailykos.com\/story\/2008\/8\/8\/152814\/8260\/685\/564785\">a tizzy<\/a> because the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153right-wing\u00e2\u20ac\u009d media, which is all the media as far as they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re concerned, is not covering John McCain\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s affair with Cindy Hensley. Of course, the reason it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s not news just might be any one of the following:<\/p>\n<p>He got a divorce and married her, so unlike the Edwards thing, this isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t just a fling.<br \/>\nIt happened, oh, twenty-eight years ago, and has been common knowledge for about that long.<br \/>\nAnd last but not least, He wasn&#8217;t running for President of the United States at the time!!!<\/p>\n<p>There are rumors of a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alternet.org\/blogs\/peek\/94445\/media_salivate_over_edwards%27_affair%3B_shrug_shoulders_over_mccain%27s_alleged_infidelity\/\">more current affair invoving John McCain<\/a>, and this guy is tick because the press isn&#8217;t following up on it.
