This new one contradicts the IPCC&#8217;s previous irreversible one <a href=\"http:\/\/money.cnn.com\/2007\/05\/25\/magazines\/business2\/climate_change.biz2\/index.htm\">by three years<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 2009 Copenhagen Summit, which was set as a deadline and seen by many to be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/earth\/copenhagen-climate-change-confe\/6701307\/Copenhagen-summit-is-last-chance-to-save-the-planet-Lord-Stern.html\">the last chance<\/a> to do something about AGW <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/environment\/2009\/dec\/18\/copenhagen-deal\">FAILED miserably<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>From 1979 &#8211; Sea rise <a href=\"http:\/\/stevengoddard.wordpress.com\/2011\/05\/23\/1979-ncar-forecast-sea-level-may-rise-15-25-feet-before-the-year-2000\/\">could be 18 &#8211; 25 feet<\/a> if we stay on course! Of course we stayed on course but that didn&#8217;t come quite close to happening.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/environment\/climate-change\/exclusive-scientists-warn-that-there-may-be-no-ice-at-north-pole-this-summer-855406.html\">No ice at North Pole this summer<\/a>. No no ice happened instead.<\/p>\n<p>Even world renowned Climate expert Prince Charles gave us <a href=\"http:\/\/sonicfrog.net\/?p=2632\">18 months to save the world<\/a>&#8230; And that deadline passed 22 months ago.<\/p>\n<p>None of this means that AGW isn&#8217;t real. None of this means that the extra CO2 we do emit into the atmosphere has no effect on temps or climate. Consider this &#8211; CO2 levels have increased from 290ppm at the turn of the 20th century to today&#8217;s levels of about almost 400ppms, yet, somehow, NOW we only have five years before it&#8217;s too late? Why wasn&#8217;t it too late 50 ppm&#8217;s ago?????
