Michael Moore Versus Michael Moore

Having seen most of his films, I for one find it a little ironic him criticizing Juan Williams for journalistic integrity. Just making an observation. PS. His main point is valid, but I just find it funny that it’s Michael Moore unleashing this critical barb.

Journalists Versus A Thing Called Life.

What’s wrong with journalism? The Juan Williams firing and the responses from journalistic elites gives a perfect example of why so many publications are dying. Here’s Jen Reeves, an associate journalism professor at the University of Missouri in Columbia, explaining why it was appropriate for NPR to fire Williams: “It’s confusing to the general public […]

In trying to justify the firing of Juan Williams, NPR CEO Vivian Schiller says this: “… NPR’s ethics code [states]: ‘In appearing on TV or other media. … NPR journalists should not express views they would not air in their role as an NPR journalist. They should not participate in shows … that encourage punditry […]

There. I said it. ‘Cause you know that if it was FOX that fired him, no matter the reason, the left would be making that charge against that news channel.

It’s sometimes like watching a dog chase its own tail! On Obama’s stance on Same Sex Marriage? He’s being pragmatic! On Obama’s stance on DADT? Perplexed. And, just moments ago? We’re lucky to have him!

Green Ads – Nissan Leaf VS…

Which one do you like better / dislike worse? Some are appalled at the Polar Bear ad. I think, as an ad, it’s OK. The notion that it’s a horrible ad because a Polar Bear, in real life, would rather eat you than hug you, is to me, a silly criticism. It’s a Commercial. Like […]

I wrote a number of post about Climategate. After this story broke there were other “gates” that appeared, including “Amazon-gate” and “Africa-gate”. Both those stories, written by one Johnathan Leake, have been retracted. I am a skeptic of the alarmist, dooms-day wing of AGW climate consensus, and have written more than a few bits on […]
