Convicted Felon To Run California Schools
The Fresno Bee is reporting that Gov. Jerry Brown has appointment convicted felon Bill Honig to the state Board of Education. Well, this isn’t a promising start to the Brown administration. Hey, I guess if Michale Vick can get a second chance. Plus, now the kids who get into trouble will have a role model, someone to look up to…
Should I label this “honesty in government”? I mean, I kind of figure most politicians are crooks anyway. Regardless, if something goes wrong with this appointment, at least we’ll be less surprised.

“He has the kind of knowledge of the bureaucracy of education, as well as education policy.”
Isn’t a bureaucracy something you DON’T want?
