We Are The Champions, My Friends….

The Fresno State baseball team just won the College World Series… Awesome!!!! I didn’t realize this is the first national title won by a Fresno State mens team (the womens softball team won the world series about ten years ago… before I had a blog).

Steve Detwiler is a STUD. The outfielder has been playing with a torn ligament in his left thumb, and has been hitting the CRAP out of the ball throughout the world series. Fresno won the final game by 6 runs, and Detwiler drove in ALL SIX RUNS!!! How do you do that with a torn ligament in your thumb? He is scheduled to have it fixed this summer, but with the way he hit during the world series, would you want to get it fixed?
